Pilates exercises explained
Teaser Figure of Eight
The "Teaser" as such is already the king exercise of Pilates. The "Teaser Figure of Eight", which is often incorporated into the Teaser Series, requires even more stability, coordination and strength endurance.
All exercises, especially the "Teaser Roll Up", "Lower and Lift" as well as exercises that require rolling up and down will prepare you for this variation of the teaser.
Exercise description
Depending on where we put the "Teaser Figure of Eight", we come across the "Teaser Roll Up" or "Teaser" to the final position (V position). There we hold the position and lead the legs closed to the right and the arms to the left, drawing a lying figure eight. The upper body remains still and stable.
Breathing can be varied during this exercise.
Repeat the exercise 2 to 4 times. Then roll again.
Pro Tip From Maria
Keep your legs slightly bent if you feel you can't lead the position at the beginning.
When the legs are lightly pressed together, this activates the deep muscles.
Always keep your eyes calm and focused on one point.
