Before we start, I would like to invite you to explore an often underestimated element of our Pilates practice: The art of arriving at yourself.
Imagine how top athletes prepare for their performance: A short meditation, body tapping or even a motivational shout. These rituals are essential for focus and preparation - both mentally and physically.
We will practice what it is like to calm down, do a short body scan and then move into our dynamic and active Pilates workout, which will include weights.
We will then take time for regenerative muscle relaxation according to Jacobson.
This Pilates class awaits you:
- Short body journey & body scan:
We start with a guided sequence for conscious body awareness to prepare us optimally for the training. - Main section: Strengthening body dynamics
A dynamic, energetic Pilates workout with weights that challenges our muscles and improves our posture. - Relaxation: muscle relaxation according to Jacobson
Finally, we treat ourselves to a regenerative phase of muscle relaxation to calm the body and lead it into a state of deep relaxation.
Bring weights that suit your level, a comfortable Pilates mat and your curiosity.
Let's find out together how arriving at yourself before training influences our training experience and how we can train more efficiently as a result.
I look forward to walking this path with you and hearing your feedback.
Have fun with your Pilates training,
Maria and the whole Pilatesclub team
Dear Mary,
A big thank you to you for this great workout. It's super cool that you use weights. Your explanations are so easy to implement. Simply perfect. Your constant new ideas enrich my training. I've wanted to get rid of that for a long time. It's a shame that I can't take part in face-to-face classes with you. Or do you also organize one-day workshops?
Best regards from Munich Stefanie 🙏👌😊
